Pipeline Rental Equipment
The U.S. pipeline network consists of nearly 3 million miles of pipeline. Every single year, this pipeline network delivers about 20 billion barrels of crude oil and natural gas.
Keeping pipelines clean and free from contaminants is absolutely critical for daily operations.
PFP operates the largest fleet of pipeline integrity support equipment in the industry. From our vast brand catalog, we can provide you with high-performance filter cartridges, liquid pumps, clay treater vessels, natural gas filters, particulate filters, and much more.

Online & Offline Pipeline Cleaning
At Precision Filtration Products (PFP), we offer both online and offline pipeline cleaning services designed to maintain the operational efficiency and integrity of pipeline systems.
Online cleaning enables operators to clean pipelines while keeping them in service, allowing continuous product flow with minimal disruption. Utilizing pipeline pigs and specialized equipment, harmful contaminants such as scale, wax, dirt, and debris are removed without interrupting critical operations. This method is ideal for routine maintenance or for clearing smaller blockages in sections of active pipelines.
Offline cleaning services provide a more thorough solution by shutting down the pipeline for a detailed cleaning process. In this scenario, we deploy high-pressure flushing, chemical cleaning, or mechanical pigging to remove heavier buildups and debris that may impair flow efficiency. While offline cleaning requires planned downtime, it offers a more comprehensive cleaning.
Whether online or offline, our expert services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each pipeline system.
Chemical Cleaning Solutions
Chemical cleaning refers to the use of specialized liquids in order to efficiently remove debris, scale, rust, and other harmful contaminants from surfaces inside of a pipeline. Removal of such contaminants allows for proper flow and prevents costly damage to pipelines.
Chemical solutions are often used in the following applications:
- Parrafin Removal (on & offshore)
- Sand & Black Powder Control
- Hydrocarbon Removal
- Calcium Carbonate Removal
- Hydrotest Inhibitor
- Corrosion Inhibitor
- Equipment Cleaning (Amine, Glycol, Heat Transfer)
No matter the filtration need – PFP can meet it.
Hydrostatic Testing
PFP’s hydrostatic testing allows operators to evaluate and verify a pipeline’s integrity. This process helps identify pressurization as well as problem areas such as pipeline leaks. Hydrostatic testing ensures that a pipeline performs as intended, and is safe for use during operation.
This testing begins by filling a section of pipeline with liquid (typically water) or gas, effectively pressurizing the pipeline to a specified pressure value. This specific pressure value is usually higher than the pipelines intended operating pressure. Over the course of hours, operators are able to monitor the pipeline for any potential leaks or pressure drops. From this point, operators can address issues that the hydrostatic testing reveals.
Temporary Flaring
Simply put, temporary flaring involves the use of portable flare stacks in order to burn-off excess gas in a controlled setting. This procedure diverts gas into a flare stack, where it is ignited and burned in order to reduce the risk of explosions or build-ups of dangerous flammable gases.
It is common for temporary flaring procedures to occur during planned maintenance or repair. This procedure provides a safe alternative to the disposal of gas while minimizing the amount of methane that is released into the atmosphere.
